How does a pool heat pump work?

The pool's heat pump converts the outside air into heat. The heat pump is powered by electricity and has a fan that blows outside air past the heat exchanger. The outside air passes through the pump and the coolant ensures the heat from the air is converted into gas. The hot gas is pumped into the compressor and turned into even hotter gas. At the same time, pool water flows through the heat pump. Thanks to the hot gas, the water in the pool becomes wonderfully warm!

When should I use a pool heat pump?

The pool heat pumps we offer also work at an outside temperature of - 25°C. With all pool heat pumps, you can heat your pool water to no less than 40 degrees! And at the same time, it is also possible to cool down the water.

How to use, for example, NANO Action R, MAGR, MAGFI pool heat pumps?

Smaller pool heat pumps such as NANO ACTION R, MAGR, MAGFI are ready for immediate use and can be easily connected to an above-ground pool and filter pump. The heat pump has two hoses: one to connect to the pool, the other to the filter pump. So the water first flows from the pool to the filter pump, then through the heat pump and finally back to the pool. You can set the desired water temperature on the digital display of the heat pump. As soon as the water temperature is reached, the pump switches off automatically. If the water temperature drops below the set temperature, then the pump will automatically start working again.

How quickly will the pool heat pump heat my pool water to the desired temperature?

How quickly the swimming water heats up depends on many factors, such as the amount of swimming water, the amount of sun and wind, whether the pool is in an open area, and whether a cover has been added to the pool after use. In addition, the ambient temperature affects the (further) heating of the water temperature in the pool both at night and during the day.
